The 2018 University audit, risk & insurance conference is in Perth, WA from 23 - 25 May 2018. The theme of the conference is The black swan – a look at unprecedented and unexpected disruptions in the Higher Education sector.

The conference will be jointly hosted by Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, and the University of WA - and held in the CBD at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre (PCEC).

General registration is now open through this embedded Cvent link:

  1. To ensure integrity of the system, each Registration will need to be processed separately; however once you have finalised your Registration process there is an option on the Summary Page to “Register Another” if you wish to do so on behalf of your colleagues.
  2. To ensure that we have the necessary quorum for the AURIMS AGM, this has been placed within the Program on Day 2 over the Risk and Insurance streams, concurrent to an Audit topic for our ANZUIAG colleagues to attend. NOTE: For Brokers/Insurers/Industry attendees, although you are unable to attend the AURIMS AGM, we invite you to attend the Audit stream session.
  3. Sponsors – please contact Tracey Rossi, AURIMS Secretary, via Email: t.rossi@curtin.edu.au for confirmation of your Discount Code, prior to submitting you Registrations.
  4. Speakers – if you are confirmed by the Organising Committee as a Speaker for the Conference, you are entitled to a reduced Speaker Registration fee of $400, please contact Tracey Rossi, AURIMS Secretary, via Email: t.rossi@curtin.edu.au for confirmation of your Discount Code prior to Registration.

Booking information for general registrants:

  • Early bird rate - $500 excluding GST - available until 28 April 2018;
  • Normal rate - $600 excluding GST - applies after 28 April 2018;
  • Bookings close one week before the event - 16 May 2018;
  • Additional tickets to the Gala Dinner at Frasers Kings Park - $130 per person;
  • Cancellations before 28 April 2018 will attract a $50 cancellation fee;
  • No refund for cancellations after 28 April 2018, however a registration may be transferred to another applicant at no cost, providing the organisers are informed;
  • When booking please indicate dietary requirements and/or allergies.

All attendees must book their own Accommodation direct, however the organising committee has obtained the following discounted rates, for selected hotels close by - SEE LINK HERE

Unfortunately, the Sealink cruise / discount is not valid for travel on Rottnest Island services. To receive the discount for other services book by phone or in person, and quote AURIMS at the time of booking; the discount will be applied to the select cruise. Pre-booking is recommended for all departures.
